Endel

To get more work done over the last few weeks — as I’ve been building JasonTheodor.com, Createorbecreated.com, mind/share, and Picobooks (not to mention this Creative Edge newsletter!) — I’ve been using an app called Endel.

Imagine a robot following you around all day, measuring your heartbeat, weather, ambient noise, and time of day and then beaming an ambient, personalized soundtrack into your head based on all this data. That’s sort of what Endel is: an AI soundtrack using external info to help you focus, relax, or sleep. Did I mention Richie Hawtin, aka Plastikman, is involved?
