August, this is a passionate, practical manifesto. I still believe there is room for wordiness (George R.R. Martin) and jibber-jabber (Lewis Carroll), if that’s what you choose to write. Sometimes letting go of process and pragmatism can lead you (and your readers) to exciting and unexpected places. Whether it becomes a dead-end or a spectacular vista is all part of the adventure. I don’t expect a mechanic to experiment too much (especially not in front of me), but a little playfulness and personality might entice me to keep coming back. Can you expound more on this?
